Job summary

KA Leisure in Irvine is seeking part-time staff to clean and prepare facilities, and to assist customers. The role includes general supervision of services, with duties performed mainly evenings and weekends.

Occasional lifeguarding may be required; candidate should be willing to obtain qualification if not already held. PVG scheme costs are payable by the successful applicant.

Rate of Pay: £13.52 per hour (K&A Leisure provides workers with a minimum hourly rate of £13.52 under the Living Wage Initiative. Term and Conditions apply)

Hours: Part time – 11.5 hours per week (evenings and weekends)
Duration: Permanent
Location: The Portal - 66 High Street, Irvine, KA12 0AZ

Job Purpose:

• Preparation of facilities for use and on-going cleaning of facilities, ensuring a high standard of housekeeping for our customers and colleagues
• Provide assistance to customers
• General supervision of the facilities and services
  The post primarily involves cleaning and general duties detailed above. The post will involve lifeguarding duties as and when required. As such, we are ideally seeking candidates for the position who have a current lifeguarding qualification or who would be open to becoming lifeguard qualified once appointed.
