Main duties of the job

Join our team as Recovery Worker in North/East Cornwall. Our team in Liskeard is looking for a Recovery Worker to provide high‑quality recovery care to a diverse client group. As a member of our team you will support people who access the service for help with their drug or alcohol use and improve support for clients within the criminal justice system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Covering courts, prisons and custody suites on a regular basis.
  • Working with people awarded a community sentence where mental health, drugs and/or alcohol have been identified.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to manage orders and support multi‑agency plans.
  • Supporting individuals released from prison.

  • ONC/NVQ level 3 (or willingness to achieve within 12 months).
  • Driving licence with access to a vehicle and business use added to insurance.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to prioritise work.
  • IT competence.
  • Flexibility with working hours and willingness to support other WithYou locations.
