Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users, supporting entry into treatment and through recovery pathways. You will screen, assess, plan recovery, and refer onward while reducing harm and promoting involvement of carers, service users, and the wider community.

You'll deliver structured group content, tailor workshops to needs, and work with a range of professionals to ensure safeguarding and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues.
• Experience with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.
• Proactive with strong time management and prioritising skills.
• Good working knowledge of mental health interventions, services and good practice.
• Ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and stakeholders.
• Commitment to information governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery.
• Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods, reviewing progress.
• Tailor workshops around service users' needs (e.g., anger management, sleep disorders).
