Change Grow Live is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users at HMP Erlestoke. The role focuses on facilitating recovery journeys, screening, assessment and recovery planning, and onward referrals within a supportive, person-centered framework.

You will work with diverse professionals to promote recovery, resilience and social reintegration, while delivering structured group content and tailored workshops to meet individual needs.

Formación

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues
• Experience working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative with good time management
• Good working knowledge of mental health interventions and services
• Ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and stakeholders
• Understand information governance requirements and safeguard policies

Responsabilidades

• Supporting service users from entry into the service and through their treatment journey
• Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
• Reducing drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community
• Promoting carer, service user and community involvement
• Advocacy for access to partnership services
• Working with service users to support social reintegration and recovery
• Research, design and prepare materials for groups/pods
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery
• Debriefing and evaluating with co-facilitators after groups/pods
• Tailor workshops to needs of service users (e.g., anger management, sleep disorders)
• Seek learning opportunities and oversee learning and development of others
