Job summary

Change Grow Live in Maidstone is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users, ensuring access to the right interventions at the right time. You will support people from entry through their treatment journey, deliver group sessions, and collaborate with partners to promote recovery, resilience, and social reintegration while upholding information governance and safeguarding.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, fixed-term for 12 months, with pro rata for part-time if

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues.
• Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; good IT skills.
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative with strong time management and prioritising skills.
• Knowledge of mental health interventions, services and best practice.
• Team player with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage change prioritising service users’ needs.
• Understanding of information governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Support service users from entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey.
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Advocate for access to partnership services.
• Work with service users to support social reintegration and recovery.
• Research, design and prepare materials for groups/pods.
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery.
• Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators and address concerns.
