Zusammenfassung

Change Grow Live is seeking a Recovery Coordinator at HMP Guys Marsh to assess and engage with service users, ensuring access to the right interventions at the right time. The role involves facilitating recovery pathways, group sessions and tailored workshops while coordinating with partners and safeguarding best practices.

The role requires strong communication, group facilitation and a solid understanding of substance misuse.

Qualifikationen

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues
• Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills
• Proactive with good time management and prioritising
• Good knowledge of mental health interventions and services
• Supportive team player with interpersonal skills for partnerships
• Ability to manage change prioritising service users' needs
• Commitment to information governance and safeguarding
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally

Aufgaben

• Support service users from entry into the service and through their treatment journey
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and referrals
• Reduce drug and alcohol harm to service users and community
• Promote involvement of carers, service users and the community
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services
• Support social reintegration and recovery through activities and peer support
• Prepare and tailor group materials and sessions
• Deliver structured content within groups for users at different recovery stages
• Debrief with co-facilitators after groups to review progress
• Address service user needs by tailoring workshops (anger, sleep, relationships, etc.)
