Job summary

Change Grow Live in Sefton is recruiting to support service users from initial contact through treatment and recovery. You will screen, assess and plan recovery, delivering tailored interventions to reduce harm from opiate use in group or one-to-one settings.

You will work with partners to expand resources, advocate for service users, and promote social reintegration. The role emphasises strong communication, IT skills, and collaborative teamwork within a values-led environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient IT skills and ability to use information governance.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and prioritisation.
• Understanding of mental health interventions and related services.
• Experience in services for addiction or recovery settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to service users from first contact through treatment and recovery journey.
• Screening, assessment, and recovery planning with onward referrals.
• Deliver tailored interventions to reduce harm from opiate use, via group or one-to-one sessions.
• Ensure recovery-focused plans including pre-detox and post-care support.
• Collaborate with organisations and communities to expand recovery resources.
