Job summary

Change Grow Live is recruiting for a role within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery team based at HMP Humber in Brough. You will work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence, helping them build recovery capital and move into long-term social reintegration.

The role involves delivering group psychosocial interventions, pod work tailored to caseload needs, and collaborating with prison partners to schedule attendances.

Qualifications

• Must be sensitive to complex and diverse needs.
• Demonstrate a strong recovery focus and knowledge of psychosocial interventions.
• Ability to manage change while prioritising service users’ needs.
• Understand information governance processes and safeguard data.
• Proactively seek learning opportunities to improve knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate recovery for service users to build recovery capital and aid reintegration.
• Develop and deliver group psychosocial interventions; provide pod-based sessions.
• Be creative and proactive to meet service user needs and promote engagement with underrepresented communities.
• Assess suitability for groups related to risk and special needs with prison partners.
