Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to support adults in treatment for opiate use from our Whitehaven site, with some time at Workington. You will manage your own caseload within a multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred care and coordinating with clinicians and partner agencies to support recovery.

The role involves triage, assessments and developing personalised recovery plans, with emphasis on reducing harm and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• Health and social care qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing a caseload in health, social care or substance use services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of adults receiving treatment for opiate use, developing, implementing and reviewing personalised recovery plans.
• Complete triage, screening and comprehensive assessments, tailoring interventions to individual needs and goals.
• Build trusting, therapeutic relationships that encourage engagement and sustained recovery.
• Work collaboratively with prescribing clinicians and partner agencies to coordinate care and provide integrated support.
• Provide support across Whitehaven and Workington sites to ensure a consistent service.
• Help people access healthcare, housing, employment, family support and community resources.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate records using SystmOne.
