Job summary

Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Coordinator/Group Worker for Recovery Steps Cumbria in Whitehaven. Based at 21b Lowther Street, you will support people with drug and alcohol use toward sustained recovery, delivering one-to-one and group interventions.

Role involves multi-disciplinary collaboration, developing recovery plans, and running structured groups while using MI, CBT-informed techniques and ITEP to boost motivation and progress.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification, or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and develop personalised recovery plans.
• Carry out triage, screening and assessments to identify needs.
• Provide one-to-one support and deliver psychosocial interventions.
• Develop and run recovery groups and structured programmes.
• Use Motivational Interviewing, CBT-informed interventions and ITEP.
• Collaborate with families, partner agencies and professionals for coordinated support.
• Lead case management including risk assessments and safeguarding.
