Job summary

Vets Now Coventry is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients in emergencies, greet visitors, book appointments and handle transactions. You will support clinical staff with administration and ensure smooth operation of the clinic.

You will communicate updates to veterinary staff and provide friendly, reassuring client service during stressful times. Working pattern includes evenings and Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

• First point of contact:
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits. Including greeting all clients, answering calls, and booking appointments as well as handling financial transactions.
• Administration:
  • Manage administrative duties in clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service.
  • Providing updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
• Client Support:
  • Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Working pattern

Every Monday and Tuesday from 18:00 to 22:00 and Sunday from 08:30 to 18:00

Plus, a fair share of bank holidays.
