Uckfield Community Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic receptionist to join a friendly team on site in Uckfield. The role involves 5-hour shifts, five days a week, planned one month in advance on a rota.

Shifts run from 7:45am to 3:00pm, supporting clinical staff and patients in a busy practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, offering a professional and empathetic welcome by phone and in person, while handling general administrative tasks to help keep the practice running

Jobbeschreibung

We are looking for an enthusiastic receptionist to join our friendly and welcoming team, uniquely based in Uckfield Community Hospital. The working hours will be 5 hour shifts, 5 days a week, on a rota basis that is planned one month in advance. The shifts vary from a 7.45am to a 3pm start.

Main duties of the job

• You will be the first point of contact, both face-to-face and over the telephone and must have a professional, empathetic and personable manner.
• The role will involve a variety of administrative duties to support the clinical team and smooth running of the practice.

We are a three-partner practice, based in semi-rural Uckfield, and currently have a practice population of 8000 patients. We have a CQC rating of "good" and our recent GP patient survey overall experience was rated at 87%, against a national average of 67%. All staff are well supported by a strong management team, who value the importance of work/life balance.
