Uckfield Community Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic receptionist to join a friendly team on site in Uckfield. The role involves 5-hour shifts, five days a week, planned one month in advance on a rota.

Shifts run from 7:45am to 3:00pm, supporting clinical staff and patients in a busy practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, offering a professional and empathetic welcome by phone and in person, while handling general administrative tasks to help keep the practice running

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact face-to-face and over the telephone with a professional, empathetic and personable manner.
• Provide administrative support to the clinical team and aid the smooth running of the practice.
