One Aldwych Limited in Covent Garden is seeking a Receptionist to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will be at the forefront of the guest journey, greeting guests warmly and handling check-in/check-out with poise.

You will develop a genuine understanding of guests and their preferences to personalise stays and exceed expectations, while maintaining a high standard of service and product knowledge in a luxury setting.

• An highly organised and attentive approach with strong attention to detail.
• Warm, engaging and professional manner with the ability to build genuine connections.
• Previous experience in a luxury hospitality environment preferred; Opera Cloud familiarity is an advantage.

About Reception

Reception is where a warm welcome begins. The Reception team introduces guests to the hotel and all it has to offer. With a friendly and professional approach, the team helps guests feel at ease from the moment they arrive. Working closely with colleagues across the hotel, Reception helps bring everything together to create a smooth and seamless stay.

Role Overview

As a Receptionist within a five-star luxury hotel, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience, acting as one of the first points of contact throughout the guest journey.

You will develop a genuine understanding of our guests and their preferences, using this knowledge to personalise their stay and create thoughtful moments that exceed expectations. You will manage guest enquiries with confidence and professionalism, while maintaining a strong knowledge of the hotel and its offerings to ensure every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

What you will do

• Welcoming guests, ensuring a smooth welcoming experience, check in, rooming and check out
• Deliver exceptional service to our guests at all times in line with our service standards
• Recognise and anticipate the needs of our guests, and communicate, take action, and follow up where needed to create memorable guest experiences
• Assist and communicate with all departments ensuring a smooth stay for guests

• A genuine passion for hospitality and a natural commitment to delivering thoughtful, personalised guest experiences
• A highly organised and attentive approach, with the ability to anticipate guest needs, manage details accurately and communicate clearly with both guests and colleagues
• A warm, engaging and professional manner, with a natural ability to build genuine connections and leave a positive and lasting impression
• Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment; familiarity with Opera Cloud would be an advantage
