Job summary

The Cliftonville, part of Young's Pubs, is a seaside venue with boutique bedrooms and a growing events business. We are seeking a Receptionist who will deliver warm, guest‑focused service and handle bookings at the front desk, ensuring memorable experiences for every guest.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high level customer service in a similar environment.
• Active team player with excellent communication and high standards.
• Pro-active approach to driving sales and ensuring smooth front desk operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service at the front desk and assist with bookings.
• Support sales growth by engaging with customers and cross‑selling where appropriate.
• Maintain financial and administrative procedures with accuracy and integrity.

What we look for in a Receptionist

As the successful Receptionist you will have a passion to deliver exceptional customer service every time, with a friendly outgoing personality and desire to work as part of a team. You will have experience working in a similar environment, be an active team player with excellent communication skills and have very high standards and an impeccable eye for detail.

You will have a pro-active approach to driving sales and delivering growth through engagement with our customers and team and demonstrate great planning and organisational skills to maintain effective controls and ensure the financial credit and administration procedures are applied at all times.
