Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital is seeking a friendly Receptionist to be the welcoming face of the site. You will handle front-desk queries, answer calls, book appointments and guide patients to the right areas.

We value excellent communication, good IT and keyboard skills, and the ability to explain information clearly and empathetically. Prior experience in healthcare administration or reception is preferred. The role is full-time with a salary up to £25,545 per year plus benefits.

Receptionist Cambridge Hospital | Customer | Permanent | Full time Up to £25,545.00 per annum, dependent on experience 37.5 hours per week

You’re also able to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way that’s clear, sympathetic and easy to understand. Ideally, you have experience of working in healthcare administration or on reception.

The Role

As a Receptionist, you will: Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships. Put people at ease when they visit your department. Answer the phone, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments. Welcome patients, in person, and directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms. Crucially, you will also help the department run smoothly by preparing clinical paperwork, referral forms and charge sheets, plus terms and conditions.

To succeed as a Receptionist you will have; Great communication skills. The ability to explain sensitive or complicated information in a clear, sympathetic and easily understood way. Ideally, you will have experience of working within Healthcare administration or a relevant reception environment. Good IT and keyboard skills. Helping you feel good.
