Job summary

The QHotels Collection is seeking a customer-focused team member to welcome guests at our 90-bedroom Basingstoke property. You will greet guests, assist with room allocation, process payments, and handle general administrative tasks with a friendly, professional approach.

Working with a busy hospitality team, you will resolve guest inquiries and complaints, maintain high service standards, and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high-quality customer service.
• Experience working in a customer-facing role.
• Strong conflict resolution abilities.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the first impression for guests; greet guests, assign rooms, take payments and perform general administrative duties.

Responsibilities

You will be the first impression a guest will have upon arriving at the hotel, you'll greet guests, assign rooms, take payments and general administrative duties. Ensure all guest enquiries/complaints are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner, always ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.

Requirements

• Passion for customer service
• Have worked in a customer facing role
• Conflict resolution experience
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Strong time management and organisational skills

Location and Facilities

, 90-bedroom property, located in Basingstoke. Our hotel has The Hampshire restaurant, Time Out bar & lounge, a garden terrace and we offer afternoon tea as well as private dining and meetings & event spaces. The leisure facilities include two pools, a gym, five indoor tennis courts, and a relaxing Elemis spa.
