Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a substantive Band 2 Receptionist at Cromer Hospital. You will provide a high-quality reception and support service to Outpatients, coordinating with patients, relatives and a wide range of staff.

The role is based at Cromer with hybrid working where possible. The post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with NHS benefits including pension, staff discounts and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Good standard of literacy and numeracy.
• Previous clerical work including data input.
• Experience in NHS or customer service organisation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible – able to multi-task and prioritise.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality reception and support service within the Outpatients Department, communicating with patients, relatives and staff.
• Ensure accurate and timely input of patient information onto PAS in line with real-time data entry requirements.
• Act as a role model to colleagues, upholding NNUH PRIDE values and contributing to an inclusive culture.
