Job summary

Arriva London is seeking motivated individuals to join the Route Performance Team as IBUS Controllers. You’ll be at the heart of London’s transport network, coordinating a 24/7 operation to ensure buses run safely, on time and with high reliability. Full training, mentorship and clear career progression are provided.

The role involves real-time decision making, monitoring via GPS, and quick responses to disruptions, with a rolling 5-day shift pattern including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous Controller experience.
• Strong communication skills, clear, confident and professional.
• Excellent decision-making ability for fast-paced environments.
• Calmness under pressure in fast-moving situations.
• Situational awareness in a changing operational airspace/hectic network.
• Leadership and teamwork to influence others and build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with drivers via radio and in person.
