Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited in Birtley is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our ReadyMix team. You will process ReadyMix orders, schedule deliveries, and provide customers with timely updates, ensuring a safe and efficient transport operation.

The role requires experience in customer service or logistics, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP/CRM experience is desirable. Mon-Fri 7am-5pm with rotational shifts may apply.

• Experience in customer service, transport, logistics, distribution or route planning.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficient IT skills; SAP/CRM experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing ReadyMix concrete orders.
• Scheduling deliveries to meet customer requirements.
• Providing customers with updates and outstanding service.
• Working closely with transport, logistics and production teams.
• Coordinating third-party haulage and ensuring compliance standards are met.
