Triumph Consultants are looking for an Anti Social Behaviour Housing Tenancy Officer to address engrained anti-social behaviour & delivering tenancy success through resolution & enforcement. Contract is for 2 to 3 months in Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 6AD
ASB Housing Officer
Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Contract length: 2 to 3 months
Area to cover is Oxfordshire
Must be able to drive and have access to a car to enable extensive travel across Oxfordshire

Key requirements
- Experience of working with anti-social behaviour cases, dealing with challenging behaviour and have a sound knowledge of criminal justice legislation.
- A sound knowledge and experience of ASB case management, legal work and court process
- Experience of addressing non access, fraud and other tenancy breaches minimising need for legal intervention
- Experience of attending and representing the organisation at court, including preparation of Notices, court papers and witness statements
- Excellent demonstratable knowledge of tenancy, lease, resolution, and legal approaches to maintain and improve outcomes for customers and minimise risk
- Membership of a professional body – CIH or equivalent, is desirable
- Must be able to drive and have access to a car to enable extensive travel across Oxfordshire
Key responsibilities
- Provide a professional, proactive and customer-focused service across your local area and help customers maintain successful tenancies and achieve positive outcomes
- Tackle anti-social behaviour, resolving issues and using enforcement where necessary
- Build positive relationships with customers and colleagues and work collaboratively to help create safer, stronger communities.
- Deliver highly effective professional tenure blind service within a locality to resolve engrained anti-social behaviour, where legal action is a last resort and deliver tenancy success through resolution whilst meeting agreed performance, service, financial standards ensuring customer satisfaction, and fully comply with legislation, regulatory and governing requirements
- Working with external partner agencies, solicitors and internal teams
- Working collaboratively with locality and functional teams to resolve non access, fraud and tenancy and lease breaches to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance within agreed customer standards and financial regulations
