Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd is seeking an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join the Neighbourhood Services team in Teignbridge. You will case manage ASB cases, support safeguarding activity and liaise with multi-agency partners to reduce anti-social behaviour.

The role is 6 months with maternity leave cover, offers hybrid working with 3-4 days in the office, and requires enhanced DBS. A driving license is preferred for site visits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Chair and manage monthly multi-agency meetings to address ASB.
• Gather evidence and prepare legal files for CPS and police for prosecutions.

Triumph Consultants are looking for an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to work within the Neighbourhood Services team to case manage anti-social behaviour within Teignbridge. Manage Safeguarding cases and advise on safeguarding matters as the Councils Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead. Contract is for 6 months in Teignbridge.

Anti-Social Behaviour Officer

Pay Rate: £25.21 per hour PAYE

Hybrid Working, 3-4 days in office per week

Enhance DBS required for this role

Maternity Leave Cover up to 9 Months and Minimum of 6 Months

Key requirements:

• Will need to have access to their own vehicle for site visits.
• Experience in managing safeguarding cases.
• Legal experience (Preparation of Court files and evidence packages).
• Experience in enforcement and risk management.
• An in depth knowledge of ASB and Safeguarding legislation and guidance including ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014.

Key responsibilities:

• Responding to the public experiencing ASB and officers of other agencies in relation to ASB.
• Preparing all Acceptable Behaviour Contracts, Community Protection Warning letters and Community Protection Notices and other initiatives to reduce ASB
• To chair and manage a monthly multi agency meeting to address individuals and locations across Teignbridge and provide specialist knowledge of tactical options available to reduce ASB with a multi-agency problem solving approach.
• To gather evidence and prepare legal files for the Crown Prosecution Service and the Devon & Cornwall Constabulary Legal services when applying for CBO’s or other legal interventions. In addition, attend court on a regular basis as an acknowledged expert in the field of ASB.
