Job summary

Home Group Limited in Southampton is seeking a part-time Support Coordinator to lead support planning and coordinate our team of Support Workers to deliver person-centred care. You will balance safeguarding, administrative duties and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.

You will help customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and appointments, working with multi-agency teams to safeguard and empower individuals.

Qualifications

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting.
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Care if not already held.

You have

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it)
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support
• The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach

The practical bits

• Part time role (30 hpw). Shifts are based on an 8 week rolling rota and include mornings, evenings, sleep ins and alternate weekends
• Service based role working with men and women aged between 18 and 64 with enduring mental health and dual diagnosis'.
• Team meetings held once every 4 weeks (included in contracted hours).
• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
• A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage
