Job summary

Home Group Limited is seeking a Support Coordinator in Sunderland. You will lead support planning, coordinate our Support Workers, and deliver person-centred support to customers with complex needs.

You’ll balance safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues, managing caseloads, and supporting customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and appointments. A meaningful role in a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting.
• Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent experience (or are willing to work towards it).
• Experience assessing referrals and coordinating support.

You have

• Passion and experience in supporting others ideally in a supported housing setting

• The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach

The practical bits

• Working 37.5 hpw Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm with some flexibility required on occasion
• Potential to work between Monday and Sunday 8am - 8pm depending on service needs and growth
• This is a community based role with support being delivered in our customers homes across Sunderland
• We do have regular team meetings and anchor days to collaborate
• You need an Enhanced with barring list (we pay)
• A vehicle insured for business use (and a license!), we’ll pay for any business mileage
