Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a fleet workshop in Snodland. The role requires a Level 2 qualification with 3+ years as a Technician or a full Level 3 qualification, with strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills. Right to work in the UK is required.

The position offers 42.5 hours per week (day shifts) with overtime paid at time and a half. IMI-accredited training and a comprehensive benefits package support ongoing development.

• Fully qualified Level 3 Technician with strong servicing, repair and diagnostic experience.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair a varied fleet of cars and vans.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
• Inspect vehicles and identify required repair work.
• Complete mechanical repairs safely and efficiently.
• Ensure vehicles remain safe, roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship across all repairs.
• Work with the wider workshop team to maximise fleet availability.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join a fleet workshop in Snodland. Applicants must either hold a Level 2 qualification with at least 3 years' employment as a Technician/Mechanic, or be fully qualified to Level 3, with strong servicing, repair and diagnostic experience and the right to work in the UK.

Hours: 42.5 hours per week – day shifts only
