Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a reputable workshop.
• Level 3 qualification or substantial practical experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills across multiple makes.
• Experience with fleet and light commercial vehicles is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles.
• Conduct diagnostics using Snap-on, Autel and dealer-level laptops.
• Perform mechanical work such as clutch replacements and cambelt changes.
• Provide initial diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify faults.
• Manage a diverse workload including fleet maintenance and individual vehicles.
• Ensure all work meets health and safety guidelines and manufacturer specs.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings to customers and management.

Duties:

• Conduct servicing and mechanical repairs on cars and light commercial vehicles
• Perform diagnostic tests using Snap-on diagnostic tools, Autel diagnostics, and dealer-level laptops
• Carry out mechanical repairs such as clutch replacements, cambelt changes, and other mechanical component work
• Provide initial diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify vehicle faults accurately
• Manage a diverse workload, including fleet maintenance and individual customer vehicles
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out and communicate findings effectively to customers and management

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a reputable workshop environment
• Relevant qualifications, ideally Level 3 or equivalent, or substantial practical experience
• Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to carry out servicing and repairs across multiple vehicle makes
• Experience working with fleet and light commercial vehicles is advantageous
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop setting
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship
