Octane Recruitment Ltd in Romford is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent) to join a modern, high-performing workshop and fast-track to an MOT Testing licence.

You’ll carry out scheduled servicing, perform diagnostics, and health checks to manufacturer standards, working with service advisors and customers to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Good organisation, time management and communication skills.
• Willingness to be fast‑tracked towards MOT testing qualifications.

Responsibilities

Up to £40,000 basic DOE + bonus | OTE £55,000 Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:30 | No weekends

Your Weekday Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll carry out scheduled servicing to manufacturer standards, complete diagnostic work to identify and resolve faults, and perform electronic vehicle health checks with clear recommendations. You’ll work closely with service advisors and customers, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard while continuing to grow your technical knowledge.
