Job summary

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Ramsbottom (BL0).

Shifts include day and night hours with pay ranging from £17.93 to £23.53 per hour, and rates are inclusive of holiday pay. Main duties include vehicle checks, trunking to depots and hubs, and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Presentable appearance with a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Valid tachograph and CPC in date.
• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.

Drivers shifts:

• 1300-00:00 starts
• Average 12-hour shift
• Days: £17.93 per hour
• Night: £19.05 per hour
• Saturday days: £20.17 per hour
• Saturday night: £21.29 per hour
• Sunday days: £22.41 per hour
• Sunday night: £23.53 per hour
• *Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
