Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a major parcel delivery network in Abergele (LL18). Shifts run 13:00–20:30 Mon–Fri, with 12-hour average shifts. Hourly pay starts at £20.34, with overtime and weekend rates as listed.

This role requires a presentable appearance, up to 6 penalty points, and a valid Tachograph & CPC with at least 12 months Class 1 experience. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, trunking to depots and hubs, and prioritising workload to meet

Qualifications

• Presentable appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Hold a valid Tachograph & CPC and 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Abergele (LL18).

Drivers shifts:

• - 1300-2030 starts
• - Monday to Friday
• - Average 12-hour shift
• - Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• - Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• - Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• - Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• - Sunday - £26.25 per hour
• *Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• - Conducting Vehicle checks
• - Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• - Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• - A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• - No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• - Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• - Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
