Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a major parcelDelivery network based in Stoke (ST5). We offer afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis with day rates from £17.93/hour and higher night and weekend rates.

Duties include vehicle checks, trunking to depots and hubs, and maintaining timely delivery commitments. Requirements include 12+ months Class 1 experience, valid Tachograph & CPC, and no more than 6 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Valid Tachograph & CPC in date.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/ IN/ DR/ DN/ TT codes.
• Presentable appearance with a positive attitude and attention to detail.

• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Stoke (ST5).

Drivers shifts

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

• 1300-00:00 starts
• Average 12-hour shift
• Days: £17.93 per hour
• Night: £19.05 per hour
• Saturday days: £20.17 per hour
• Saturday night: £21.29 per hour
• Sunday days: £22.41 per hour
• Sunday night: £23.53 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
