Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel delivery network in Leeds (LS27).

Shifts run 13:00–20:30, Monday to Friday, with 12-hour shifts. Rates include holiday pay: £20.34 per hour (Mon–Fri) and enhanced overtime on Saturdays and Sundays. The role involves vehicle checks, trunking to depots and hubs, and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Hold a valid Tachograph & CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes.
• Presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.

Drivers shifts:

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12-hour shift
• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour
• Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
