Job summary

GI Group are recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel delivery network in Crawley (RH10). Afternoon shifts available on an ad-hoc basis, with Monday to Friday and weekend work; average shift around 12 hours. Rates include holiday pay.

Shifts and locations may vary; successful drivers will conduct vehicle checks, perform trunking to depots and hubs, and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Must hold a valid Tachograph and CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points (DD/IN/DR/DN/TT not allowed).
• Good customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks.
• Trunking work to depots and hubs.
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Crawley (RH10).

Driver shifts

• We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available
• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
