Job summary

Landmarc Support Services is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance/General Services role at Castlemartin Range, Pembrokeshire. You will carry out cleaning, waste management, basic repairs, and operate fleet vehicles as part of a team supporting UK defence training estates.

Role requires awareness of health & safety, COSHH, and willingness to learn on-site processes. Driving licence is essential, and some roles may involve security clearances.

Qualifications

• General housekeeping, caretaking and building/grounds maintenance knowledge.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Effective communicator and positive team contributor.
• Basic IT skills including tablet use and documentation.
• Willingness to undertake training.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Willingness to be vaccinated against workplace risks (paid for by the company).

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness across camp facilities.
• Carry out waste collection, sorting and recycling.
• Support operation of compactors and baling machines (training provided).
• Operate plant equipment such as trailers and forklifts (training provided).
• Drive and operate fleet vehicles.
• Complete planned and reactive building and grounds maintenance.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including ablutions and accommodation blocks.
• Handover and take back site facilities from facility users.
• Manage cleaning and maintenance stock.
• Complete documentation using IT and paper-based systems.
• Carry out any other additional requirements as needed.
