Job summary

Avenues Group in Kingston is seeking a Female Support Worker to assist adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, dementia, and other needs across four bungalows. You will help residents engage in daily activities, participate in community life, and build meaningful connections with family and friends.

No prior health-care experience is required as comprehensive training is provided to support career progression.

Qualifications

  • Experience in social care is not essential; full range of training is provided.

Female Support Worker

Salary: £25,845 plus London top up payment.

Full time 39hours per week.

We are looking for Female Support Workers to work with us in Kingston supporting adults with learning disabilities, epilepsy, autism, dementia, downs syndrome and physical disabilities across 4 bungalows, each bungalow supports 5 individuals. Our service is located in an affluent residential area only 5 minutes bus route from Kingston Town Centre.

  • Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
  • Supporting our people with social activities, and connecting with family and friends.
  • Supporting the management of our people’s finances.
  • Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping.

Experience in social care is not essential, we provide a full range of accredited and award winning training programmes at no cost to yourself, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
