Job summary

GI Group are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel network in Sheffield (S35). Shifts include 1300-2030, Mon-Fri, averaging 12 hours. Rates start at £20.34 per hour with overtime after 8 hours (£25.25), and weekend premiums: Sat £23.52, Sun £26.25. Rates include holiday pay.

Main duties include vehicle checks, trunking to depots/hubs, and prioritising workloads to meet tight deadlines.

Drivers shifts:

• - 1300-2030 starts
• - Monday to Friday
• - Average 12-hour shift
• - Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• - Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• - Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• - Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• - Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• - Conducting Vehicle checks
• - Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• - Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• - A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• - No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• - Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• - Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
