Job summary

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Carlisle (CA6). Shifts are afternoon, on an ad-hoc basis, with an average 12-hour shift. Rates include £20.34 per hour (Mon-Fri), overtime £25.25 per hour, and weekend rates £23.52 per hour (with overtime at £25.25).

Presentable appearance and a positive attitude are required. Requirements: no more than 6 penalty points; valid Tachograph & CPC; at least 12 months

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Hold a valid Tachograph & CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes.

Responsibilities

• Trunking work to depots and Hubs.

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12-hour shift
• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour
• *Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
