Job summary

Connect Appointments is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers to support an established national logistics business based in Stoke. The role involves RDC-to-RDC trunking work with ongoing temporary assignments and a potential permanent position for the right candidates.

Shifts are long, averaging 10 to 12 hours, with weekly pay and a pay rate up to £26.73 per hour including holiday pay. Successful applicants will hold a valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Tachograph cards, and have a clean driving record with

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• No more than 6 points on licence with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsements.

• Operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) for trunking work between RDCs for an established national logistics business in Stoke.
• Ongoing temporary position with potential for temp-to-perm for the right candidate.

HGV Class 1 Drivers to work with an established national logistics business based in

Stoke, paying up to £26.73 per hour.

Our client operates RDC to RDC trunking work, with ongoing work and the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidates.

Please Note - Successful applicants must hold a valid DBS and be able to provide 5 years checkable work history.

What's on offer?

To be considered as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph cards
• No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsement codes
