Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services is recruiting an HGV Class 1 driver for ongoing, full‑time work for a Midlands client with modern trucks. You will trunk goods to stores across the UK and may unload with a pump truck on some runs.

You must hold a Class 1 / C+E license, have up to 6 points, and 6 months’ Class 1 experience. Tacho and CPC cards required. Shifts include 4-on-4-off or 5-out-of-7, with start times 03:00–10:00.

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 1 / C+E license.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Must hold valid Tacho and CPC cards.
• At least 6 months experience on Class 1.

Responsibilities

• Trunk goods to client stores across the UK from the RDC.
• Some deliveries involve unloading with a pump truck.
• 40–60 hours per week on average.
• Immediate start available after assessment.

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 driver on behalf of our client in Northampton (NN6).

We require HGV Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. On some of the deliveries drivers are required to unload the trailer using pump truck. Strapping experience would be an advantage as client has a mixture fleet.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

• Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
• MUST have at least 6 months experience on Class 1

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:

• Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
• Long term ongoing position
• 40-60 hours per week (on average)
• Immediate start available after assessment

Available shift patterns are:

• 4on 4 off rolling rota
• Any 5 out of 7
• Start times between 03:00 – 10:00

HGV Class 1 driver will receive:

• PAYE rates
• Days £17.66 per hour
• OT after 48 weekly hours £26.49 per hour
