Job summary

24-7 Recruitment Services is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 driver based in Northampton (NN6). You will trunk goods to client stores across the UK from the RDC and may unload with a pump truck on certain deliveries. A provisional 40–60 hour week is typical, with an immediate start after assessment.

Candidates must hold a Class 1 / C+E licence, CPC and Tacho cards, and have at least six months of Class 1 experience. A clean record with limited points is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hold valid Class 1 / C+E License.
• No more than 6 points on driving licence.
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards.
• Must have at least 6 months experience on Class 1.

Responsibilities

• Trunk goods to client stores across the UK from the RDC.
• Some deliveries require unloading the trailer using a pump truck.
• 40-60 hours per week on average.
• Immediate start available after assessment.

HGV Class 1 driver

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 driver on behalf of our client in Northampton (NN6).

We require HGV Class 1 driver to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC you will be trunking goods to a client stores throughout the UK. On some of the deliveries drivers are required to unload the trailer using pump truck. Strapping experience would be an advantage as client has a mixture fleet.

HGV Class 1 driver will require:

• Hold valid a Class 1 / C+E License
• No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
• Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
• MUST have at least 6 months experience on Class 1

HGV Class 1 driver work will involve:

• Working for one of fastest growing business in the Midlands, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work
• Long term ongoing position
• 40-60 hours per week (on average)
• Immediate start available after assessment

Available shift patterns are:

• 4on 4 off rolling rota
• Any 5 out of 7
• Start times between 03:00 – 10:00

HGV Class 1 driver will receive:

• PAYE rates
• Days £17.66 per hour
• OT after 48 weekly hours £26.49 per hour
