Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join a private nursing home in Darwen. You will support the Home Manager with clinical leadership, ensure person-centred care and supervise the nursing team to deliver high standards of practice.

You will lead care planning and monitor quality indicators. The role requires RGN or RMN registration, strong communication, and a passion for improving resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN/RMN/RGN registered nurse with valid practicing certificate.
• Strong clinical leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with residents, families and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager with day-to-day running of the service.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and support to nursing staff.
• Conduct regular resident assessments and ensure personalised care plans are in place.
• Monitor compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards.
• Assist with recruitment, training and supervision of the nursing team.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
• Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and continuous service improvement.
