Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager for a Good CQC-rated nursing home in the Lowestoft area. You will work with the Home Manager to uphold clinical standards and steer the care team to deliver safe, personalised, dementia-inclusive care.

The role requires an RGN or RMN with senior nursing/leadership background, strong medication management, and a compassionate, resident-centered leadership approach.

Qualifications

• NMC registered as an RGN or RMN with strong nursing home experience.
• Strong clinical leadership and people management skills.
• Good knowledge of CQC requirements, safeguarding and clinical governance.
• Experience with medication management and detailed care planning.
• Excellent communication with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in the clinical and operational running of the home.
• Provide visible clinical leadership and guidance to nurses and care colleagues.
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing and dementia care.
• Review care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation.
• Support safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain high standards across safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance.
• Coach, mentor and develop members of the nursing and care teams.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
• Deputise for the Home Manager when required, providing continuity of leadership.

We’re looking for an experienced RGN or RMN with a strong nursing home background to join the management team as Deputy Nurse Manager. You’ll work closely with the Home Manager, supporting clinical standards, developing the team and ensuring residents continue to receive safe, personalised and compassionate care.

What We’re Looking For

• Active
• NMC registration as an RGN or RMN – essential

• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals
• Deputise for the Home Manager when required, providing continuity of leadership
