Job summary

Sue Ryder Care in Peterborough is seeking a Shop Supervisor for our charity shop. The role focuses on driving sales and income while supporting the manager and team, with a strong emphasis on community engagement and donor relationships.

You will lead a small team, motivate volunteers, and ensure high standards of merchandising, stock control and customer service, contributing to Sue Ryder’s vital services.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail and leadership to drive sales and performance against targets.
• Ability to recruit, train and retain a committed volunteer team.
• Maintain high merchandising, housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Location: Sue Ryder Charity shop, 29 Herlington, Peterborough PE2 5PW

Hours: 15 hours per week

Salary: £12.79 per hour

You’ll support your manager and team, inspire your community and help drive income for our vital services, while championing creative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

You’ll be responsible for…

• As Shop Supervisor you will be using your skills and retail experience to help drive sales, income and performance against targets.
• Support and motivate the team to provide excellent service to customers and donors.
