Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a Reablement Worker to join our Short Term Assessment and Reablement Team (START). You will support adults in their own homes to regain independence after illness or crisis, delivering person-centred care with dignity and respect.

Role involves 4 days on and 4 days off, service every day between 7am and 10pm, and mileage reimbursement. AQCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to achieve it is required, along with a full driving licence for

Qualifications

• AQCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for home visits.
• Basic knowledge of safe working practices and dignity in care.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with personal care, mobility, transfers, nutrition and medication.
• Encourage independence through tailored support plans.
• Collaborate with therapists and managers to ensure safe and effective care.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to your team.
• Communicate sensitively and professionally with people.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to health and safety policies.
