Job summary

Altogether Care in North Devon is seeking a Reablement Worker for weekend shifts to help clients regain independence in their own homes. You’ll support daily living, encourage participation, and work with families and other professionals to set goals.

We offer competitive pay (£13.80–£14.30 per hour), permanent contract options (full-time or part-time), mileage allowance, training, and wellbeing support. A Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are preferred.

Qualifications

• A caring, proactive attitude is essential.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends is important.
• Experience in care or support work is welcome but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Help clients regain independence in their own homes.
• Support daily living activities with dignity and choice.
• Collaborate with families and professionals to set goals and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records using mobile care apps.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and report them per policy.
