Job summary

Altogether Care, a trusted family-run care company, is seeking Reablement Workers to join our team across North Devon. Competitive pay and a permanent contract, with full training and career progression opportunities.

As a Reablement Worker you’ll support clients in their own homes to regain independence, working closely with families and professionals to enable goals, dignity, and choice in daily living with a compassionate, proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence & access to own vehicle.
• Experience within Reablement Work.
• Willingness to be flexible and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with clients to set meaningful goals and identify steps to achieve them.
• Support and assist people to develop skills and confidence for independent living.
• Rebuild skills in personal care and daily activities to promote independence with dignity and choice.
• Offer physical and emotional support and encourage participation in daily living tasks.
• Monitor progress and report when independence is achieved.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and follow policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, families and professionals for safe, person-centred care.
• Keep accurate records using mobile technology and update notes promptly.
