Job summary

Altogether Care is hiring Reablement Workers to support clients in North Devon, primarily in their own homes around Barnstaple. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and a permanent contract, with ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Shift patterns include mornings, evenings, and weekends, with driving between client homes across the community. We value a caring, proactive attitude and flexibility, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Caring, proactive attitude and plenty of enthusiasm.
• Ability to drive and work flexibly across the community in peoples own homes.
• Genuine passion for empowering others.
• Experience in care or support work welcome but not essential – full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Help people regain independence and confidence in daily living.
• Work with clients in their own homes to achieve personal goals.
• Develop skills and confidence for independent living.
• Monitor progress and report on independence milestones.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and follow policies.
