Job summary

Rail Gourmet UK is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join the TransPennine Express (TPE) team at Manchester Stores. You’ll support on-train catering operations, load and unload catering stock, and help assemble orders to meet daily service commitments.

The role offers 39 hours per week with shifts starting early and rotating across weekends. DBS check may be required, and Rail Gourmet provides training, development programs, and staff discounts as part of a supportive, equal-opportunity

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older due to certain responsibilities.
• Ability to operate platform trucks and handle stock with training provided.
• Compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operating platform trucks for train-side deliveries (full training provided).
• Loading/offloading catering equipment/stock from TPE trains.
• Order assembly and stock control.
• Comply with Health & Safety/Food Hygiene Regulations.
