Job summary

Rail Gourmet is seeking an On Board Host for TransPennine Express at Carlisle Station. The role offers a pay rate of £13.65 per hour plus commission, with full-time hours (40 hours) and rotational shifts between 5:00am and 11:00pm. DBS check may be required; full training will be provided.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in a customer-facing role within Retail, Leisure & Hospitality, and be able to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays.

• At least 2 years of customer-facing experience in Retail, Leisure & Hospitality.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide 'at-seat' trolley service on TPE trains, delivering outstanding customer service, managing stock, and handling transactions.
• Travel on assigned trains, assist passengers, achieve sales targets, and meet contractual goals.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and support management initiatives.

On-Board Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at Carlisle Station.

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission

Hours: Full Time (40 hours).

Shifts: Rotational shifts between 5:00am and 11:00pm, working flexibly on weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays

• Due to some responsibilities within the Onboard Host role, applicants will need to be 18 years of age or over to perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years working experience gained in a Customer Facing role within the Retail Leisure & Hospitality Industry.

Full Training will be provided.

As An On Board Host You’ll
