Job summary

Rail Gourmet in Manchester Piccadilly Station is seeking an On-Board Host for TransPennine Express trains. This full-time role is 39 hours per week, with a pay rate of £13.65 per hour plus commission, and includes rotating shifts from early morning to evening and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years in a customer-facing role within Retail, Leisure & Hospitality.
• Full training will be provided.
• Must be 18 years of age or over for certain shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide at-seat trolley service on TPE trains with excellent customer care, stock management and transactions.
• Travel on assigned trains, assist passengers, and pursue sales targets and contractual goals.
• Account for stock and transactions, follow hygiene and safety standards, support management initiatives.

Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission.

Hours: Full Time (39 hours).

Shifts: Rotational shifts between 6am and 9pm, including some weekends.

• Due to some responsibilities within the Onboard Host role, applicants will need to be18 years of age or overto perform certain tasks or work on certain shifts.
• Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including long hours and varying shifts.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years working experience gained in a Customer Facing role within the Retail Leisure & Hospitality Industry.

Full Training will be provided.

AS AN ON BOARD HOST YOU’LL:

• Provide 'at seat trolley service' on TPE trains, ensuring outstanding customer service, managing stock, and handling transactions.
• Travel on assigned trains, assisting passengers, achieving sales targets independently, and meeting contractual goals.
• Accurately account for stock and transactions, adhere to hygiene and safety standards, and support management initiatives.
