Job summary

A recruiting agency is seeking skilled Welders for a contract role in Milton Keynes. Candidates should be proficient in MIG welding and able to perform various types of welds including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead. A minimum Level 2 qualification in welding/fabrication is necessary. Candidates must also pass a rail industry standard medical and drug and alcohol tests. A weld test is required prior to being offered start dates.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of welds, including flat, vertical, horizontal and overhead.
• Perform corrosion removal on various fleets of rolling stock vehicles.
